receive today LMC truck delivery :bann:

little bit of job. first regulator. after that, remove the bench for the gas tank carpet. so I will take the opportunity to make the box for speakers (under the bench). :hiya:

Pulled the windshield this morning before work. Yeah, I finally found a piece that doesn't have rust holes hiding under it.

Cleaned up the engine bay a little before I started the A/C fan install.

I decided to run a pusher electric fan (from the outside into the bay) strictly for the condensor that will switch on whenever the air goes on...
...because I wasn't getting enough air flow over the condenser with the two primary sucking fans (into the bay mounted on the engine-side of the radiator).
The pusher on the condensor will go in... probably tomorrow.

I ordered the same drop spindle from CPP this week. They're about a week behind after moving. Hoping to have them for next weekend. Looks awesome. How did they ? Any issues I should be aware of? Thanks.

I actually have managed to get a lot done this winter----which only leaves about 9 years and three weeks of work left!!!

The latest (and last TO DO) to the cab before primer is the recessed antenna.

Removed the inside tank, used the purchased filler plate, then cut it out to use 2 1/4 heavy wall exhaust pipe. Will use a power antenna sitting about 2" down. Installed a drain in the bottom and will run that out the bottom of cab.

More patchwork on the outer fenders. Still have the tailgate to go before I'm at a stand still till I get my cab and bed. Trying to get the small panels out of the way so I can focus on the pile o rust cab

After figuring out the new starter I put on 2 weeks ago blew all its teeth into the inspection. pan I installed another today. I also found a blown fuse and I now have.tail-brake lights. I also insured it and took the little woman to town to fill the tank for the fisrt time since I've owned it. Tomorrow I get to drive her to work. I'm so excited. There is a guy down the street with a 71-72 surburban that I meet today at the gas station. I know I haven't gotten a lot done, but I'm happy. Next is to get a fresh tune and adjust the tranny.

The install went without a hitch. All the stock parts fit perfectly. Highly recommend them.
