Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I wonder if the color disparity has something to do with paint products then..
my 65 has pronounced color differences within the fawn throughout the cab.. and the turquoise exterior is left with almost only greenish color.. it's been on the farm my entire life, guaranteed original paint throughout.. good luck, that's a dandy one, hope you get it! |

We'll this is the passenger door on my 68. I have been collecting cars for 40 years . This one is in my opinion is completely original. The rubber mat is pristine. I'll post pictures of the interior at a later date. But the doors are much darker than the cab inside or the exterior of the truck

But if you look the door paint matches the vinyl on the seat and dash

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
But I do have to thank Jacko on my 68 . I bought it I think 20 minutes after he posted it. Truck is unbelievable. Me and my wife did 13 hours in one day to get to it in Cumberland sc . Great trip and on the way home we got detored around mooresville and found a 70 SS396 for sale on a side road. Has all the paperwork to prove its origin. So another project in the mix

here are two other 68s I've seen that I at least "think" are original paint - and they don't seem to show a different color. Have to admit, I like the darker color, like you said, it matches the trim nicely. Pic 1 is a fremont K20, don't know plant for pic 2. Sorry, I'm mucking up the CL thread... This warrants further discussion! Maybe in a new thread. Anyway, pics:
