I just got back from Automotion in Wisconsin Dells. There were some interesting 67-72s there but the one that really made me drool was the 68 SWB that looked close to stock from the outside, but was packing a heavily bored and stroked 427 (578cid). I'd post some pics, but freephoto-i is whacked. He claims 10.90s on slicks(10-11 in.) with all motor. His only suspension mods were some soft Malibu rear springs. He also told of a slightly squirrley run on street tires (BFG Sport Truck T/As) to the tune of 11.70s. Mmmmmmmmmm.....me wants to play!!!! Another example for those of us who dig the challenge of making a hauler haul.
