Well, got a new bandsaw blade, and some lights too, so now I can see what I am doing, it helps when you get the right bulbs for your fluorescents....

I got super busy and had to take a break from working on the bumper for a couple of weeks, but now I'm back on it, and I have it 99% welded up, next I need to sand blast it, sand it, prime it, fill any low spots with bondo, and paint it up.

Hopefully Thursday AM it will be going back on the truck.

That bumper's going to be really nice. What color/finish are you going with. I think gloss black would look downright awesome. What'd you have to do to the Dodge to get it straightened back up? You and and your friend really understand the true meaning of the word friend. I can't wait until you start on that welding rig.

To straighten the dodge, it took a piece of pipe, a chain, a binder and a really big hammer and a couple of pry bars. and a jack.

The bumper is getting painted a color of silver that is close to the truck color, but a bit darker. I am painting it with the valspar they have at tractor supply. The reason I am going with the grey is so I can take photos of it, and you can see the angles in the pictures, I think if I painted it black, that would be lost. And eventually he will have it rhino lined.
