Satin Blue with Black Interior I did. I'm trying to decide which direction I want to go so I know what color to do the interior and so I can order my seat covers.

Just wondering, I like the idea!!! If I had it to do over I would go the direction your going, Ls, patina, and bags. As far as what you posted above I like the looks of the "flat" silver one. But as I look at them, I like um all. With the parts you are gathering up, your ideas, and the do's and dont's from the last build this thing is going to be awesome. Keep at it Keith, I'll be watching:chevy:

I like the silver/grey or ether of the red schemes with red interior.

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
looking good! should be a cool build. we are running almost the same size tires! I was on the fence for the fronts. I went with a 245/40/20. I'm curious to see if there is much difference.

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
It looks like you're getting off to a great start. I'll put my vote in for the silver with the red interior. I know you say it's supposed to be white but have you tried a silver one in your Digital Paint Booth program?

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
Knowing that the first pic is satin white (even though it looks like light gray primer), I like the idea. But that all red pic is NICE!!! The red interior is a good choice, either exterior color will look good.

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
Flat white with red guts would be LEGIT!!!

Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
Glad to see you are back Keith. Can't believe I took this long to follow this one since I knew it was coming a few weeks ago...
As like everyone else has said, sorry to hear about the divorce. Glad you have a good positive outlook now. |
Re: Project "Redemption" 68 SWB Fleetside
Glad to see your back at it. Flat white with red interior is a color combo I thought would look real cool. I've tossed around silver/gray with red myself.
Looks like a solid plan and pretty sure you'll be driving yours before me. I'm walking in your footsteps in constant mind changing. I've now got a plan but not enough cash to make it happen all at once. |

My wheels came in today! I know this is cliche but pics do not do these justice! Very happy with the grey centers, I only have to worry about polishing the lips now  They only took about a month to come in too, Billet specialties definitely has a quick turn around!

Finally had some progress today. I bought a cab lifter from Auto Body Toolmart that attaches to my motor puller. It was definitely worth every penny. It allowed me to lift the cab off by myself in about 5 minutes. I then pulled the little old 6 cylinder and manual trans out. Tomorrow I'll pull the front suspension out so I can get started on mocking up my Choppin Block front suspension.
