Ok so the good thing is it fits in the hole. The holes in the flanges are not pre-drilled. Placement is up to you. I cut an inch off the flange so it would go lower in the radiator support. Gives me more fan cooling surface. Also it gives a little more room for the cap. It comes with the overflow on the correct side. I am not a fan of the angle that the flanges are mounted on but it also is at the same angle as the fan, so better cooling. I like the brass fittings, and the trans lines are sae instead of metric. Overall I like it.Attachment 1558438

Re: My 42 Project
Been a while since I have been on. Finished all the mechanicals and it runs great. I drove it back and forth in the garage. Had the grill chromed. Electrical is started and the basics are done. I am build a standard bed for the truck instead of the flatbed. I am missing rear fenders. Options are 350 each on fiberglass, 1941-46 models. 250 for fiberglass 37-38 fenders. I have not seen any steel fenders anywhere. Dont know that the 37-38 fenders will even work.
I saw a truck with 47-53 steel fenders but don't know how those work either. I have not seen a lower grill valance made out of metal. Might have to make one. Not a fan of fiberglass |

When we re looking for rear fenders we bought a complete 37 just for the rear steel fenders............. they did not fit!
The glass ones look great and just need a little support and they will work fine |
Re: My 42 Project
