Thanks to all for the kind words. I feel fortunate to have found this one and only about 15 minutes from my house.

Been getting more done on my 69 since I haven't been going anywhere. I'm working on wiring right now.

Man! That's a nice truck. If I were to have seen that blue on a paint chip I would have never picked it but it sure looks good on the truck!

Thanks everyone, I started my own business a couple years ago and haven't had much truck time. The paint is 1955 GM Seamist Green (586), a one year only factory color. Pictures don't do it justice.

I noticed a few of you are showing pictures of stepsides you regretted selling...I understand.

Originally bought this '69 in '95 as a quad hauler, and have since gotten rid of the quadrunners...BUT NOT THE TRUCK!

Future plans call for me to be buried in it with the stereo blasting when my time here is up.

BRL,
Speaking of ones you wished you had not let get away. Here is my 70 model probably about 1990 or 1991. I'd had it since 1985 at this time and had put no telling how many miles on it. Picture this with a 1984 Honda 250X ATC in the back and that was teenage me. I had done a disc brake swap and rebuilt the engine by this time.

In this photo you can see the 1970 Kingwood station wagon tail lights in the fenders and the narrowed rear bumper. Got lots of comments on those when I had it.

Thanks Boog. It was originally a 6 cylinder truck 3OT but there was no motor or transmission in it when I bought it 8 years ago. It came with a 350 and th350 trans seperate and an auto column had already been installed. I sold the engine and trans and put it back to what it was originally with a 250 and 3OT saginaw trans and added power brakes. I have a 7 bolt saginaw 3speep overdrive that I will eventually put in it.

Dirt Wow. Everything on that truck that is normally beat up is straight as an arrow. It certainly wasn't used like a truck all it's life. Grille, bumpers and tailgate are fantastic. Man, that's a keeper right there.
