I was 2 weeks outta high school, 17 yrs old, living in Denton, Texas. I was driving down a backstreet just North of Texas Womens University (my girlfrend was attending college there), I spotted and instantly fell in love with a Blue '67 short stepside... 2 years later I traded a '73 long-box 2wd for a Red '67 shortwide 2wd. (girlfriend and I had broken up by this time)
Fast forward 19 years...
Still love these 67-72's, still love that girlfriend. In fact we got married almost 4 years ago, and I'm still trying to finish one of these trucks, this time a '68 2wd Shortbox.

I love seeing all you young kids get into these "American Made" classic trucks.
If any of you youngsters' (let's say under 20 yrs old) need any parts that I may have, I don't have alot, but If I have it and isn't too large to ship, it's yours FREE. PM me what you need. Hopefully, I can help a few of you out. I remember being BROKE while building my first truck...
First come, first serve... PM only please...

I'm an old bird, but my son is 13 and has a '67 k10 SWB Stepper. He'll be 14 soon and part of his b'day present is paid membership to this site so he can start his own build thread. The countdown to 16 starts soon!

I bought my '69 Chevy when I was 12 years old for $550. I am now 23 and still own it to this day. I will never sell it. LOL, and I am still working on it.
