Does it still attach to the core support? I looked at mine and thought it would end up unsupported.... nothing to hold it from moving around...

No that section of the fender does not attach to the core support.the upper and middle sections of the fender will support the core support and keep it from moving around on you.

johnnywagon i use to have two copilots that age years ago,i had a coupla blazers years ago couldn't go any where with out my two copilots.great times

hey burt, any Sheet metal cracking due to the body lift and flexing? Ive heard of 80s k5s having the problem in the door jams

Nope, never seen any cracking ~ I have poly body bushings and all 12 of my mounts are in good shape/solid.
Keep in mind I do wheel the rig perrty hard so the body and doors are no longer straight or lined up that well and my rockers have been replaced with steel sliders. :metal:

Got the lift on my 1985 K5 blazer last night, 4-5 inch spring lift on front, 3-4 inch block lift on back... Also replaced all the bushings on it last night also, hard job but drives like a pup now!![ATTACH]:gmc2::gmc2:[/ATTACH]

Is it just me or do some of the 4" lifts look the same height as some of the 6" lifts??

Your exactly right GMC-YA68. Except the 6 inch is about $150 more. And harder on your engine, tranny, universal joint, etc. the 4 inch is perfect for height, money, and also so you dont have to replace a part on your truck every other month.

The lift was on this truck already.....I got the part# off the BDS spring...
it says 4" on a 69-72 but it specs it as a 6" on later models...?
Looks like 6" to me but I'll have to ask my wife.......:lol:

'72 Jimmy 4x4 with 4" lift, 35" tires and a 454 to get all moving. This was before the new lift (Same height). The old springs were sagging. I will add the new pics once I finish the other upgrades and get her rolling again.
