I guess the bottom line is that if you have full coverage on your truck you should let your insurance deal with the other company, it was not your fault and you should not have to deal with it.

I got a call from Geico today. They are trying to refuse to pay. They said that the driver didn't have Geico insurance, but the passenger did. Since she was not the one driving, they were not liable for paying for the damage. I don't see how it matters who was driving. I mean the vehicle was insured by Geico and the wheel came off and hit my truck. What a bunch of BS. I try to be a calm, reasonable, and rational person, but this is really starting to get irritating.

I'm with you on this. I have full coverage on my 71 K20. Its a decent truck, but definatly not even close to restored. My friends don't understand why I don't run with the minimums or just liability...This thread is why.
