Very nice man. What are you using to cut the curved parts of the rear gussets?

Well made some progress last night and today. Got the frame gussets welded last night, and today i got the motor in place. Had to make the motor mount tabs and the tranny crossmember. Also picked up a new rearend housing for it since the old one is to wide.

Heres the pictures...

Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II

Well Got the housing cleaned up and the leaf spring mounts removed, and got the axle set in place. Had to switch back to my old 3-link wishbone setup since there wasnt enought room for the parrallel 4-bar. So i got both the lowers tacked in.

Heres the pictures...

http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...odge/10162.jpg
http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...odge/10163.jpg

Lower mounts (nut is welded on the back of the tab)

http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...odge/10166.jpg
http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...odge/10167.jpg

Cut the gusset out of the upper wishbone because the metal i used for it was pitted. Thinking of chroming the link bars....

Thanks
Justin

Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II

Work on the frame a little last weekend and some this weekend, got the driveline hoop crossmember made and installed, still needs some kind of gusset. Also got the upper wishbone installed, front tabs on the wishbone still need gussets. I got the body mounts tacked into place also (frames going to be sandblasted so i didnt worry about cleaning them up).

Heres the Pictures...
