WOW man... That is the best engine compartment I have seen in a very long time... CLEAN, STOCK and SIMPLE. A job VERY WELL DONE... Kudos to you for tackling it and making it look new again.

Thank you again!

I found some repo decals and rubbed some compound on them to fade them out a little. They looked too new

I'd LOVE to drive it...

Great work Yezzi... Did you relocate the build sticker that goes on the LH fender? BTW, all the details like the hardware, decals and everything else really put it over the top... :chevy:

Excellent job! Really amazing work. 12 days? You have obviously exhibited the patience of a saint to show us the work it took to reach this final product. That is one beautiful engine compartment!

Now tell us all the details from start to finish since you have set this standard of excellence for us to wish for.

Beautiful work and remarkable attention to the details really stands out. And the rest of the truck is nice too!:metal:

Sorry my post came out wrong...
I meant that I'd hate to get it dirty and be scared to drive it, after every trip it would be time to get out the toothbrush for some detailing clean up ;)

I'm on the fence if I should replace the two stickers near the hood latch or leave it clean???? Feedback is appreciated!

Stroked87K10 03-09-2011 08:33 PM

Re: Engine compartment transformed in 12 days

I think it looks just fine without them. But i guess if you could replace them cheaply enough it wouldnt hurt.
