Its strange that it has the offset air cleaner for power brakes, but no power brakes...I wonder if they just stuck on what was handy going down the assembly line...

[QUOTE=RHGuyettejr;5681362]Pretty much stock, truck has 60k on it, and it is the orignal block, Had one header and one rotted manifold so I fixed that. It does have edelbrock intake/carb/aircleaner, but it was like that when I picked it up. [QUOTE]

What kind of contraption is that on the pass side of the engine, where an AC compressor would normally be? It looks to be a pump of some type. Was that for a plow? We don't see many of those in central Texas!;)

I might as well put on a few truck engines from the Lambrecht Auction:
( 45 years of just sitting takes a toll, doesn't it )

Thanks Steve ;)
I've noticed a whole crop of GMCs showing up in the other picture threads, nice to see. I like the looks of them better, and where I live there's hardly any GMC trucks. It's all Chevy, Ford and Dodge.

Here's my 67 with a 283. 42k miles, but I suspect it may off rolled over once. Either that or it was a hard fought 42k miles.

120K from what the ODO says, its a 250. Just rebuilt the carb. PO put a new fuel pump, alt, and starter on it before I bought it.

Very unmolested. The emission system in the photo were a 49-state requirement for the 1/2-ton big block trucks in '72. Oddly, the 402-powered 1/2-tons with smog systems were not even available for sale in California!!
