Re: Headlight thread
I love Hella, they are period correct, and are at least 200% brighter white than the original T-3. $88 for the pair.

Re: Headlight thread
This is an older thread, but most of what has been said is still accurate. There is a lot more options for LED headlamps now, especially for the 7" round lights. Still not as many choices for us GMC guys with our 4 little weak headlamps. It looks like the best options for the 4 headlamp setup is the Hellas with relays.

How about totally replacing the round unit, and install a 4" (or close) LED in each '69 grill opening continuing across? Like this (= each smiley an LED bulb): :lol::lol::lol: :lol::lol::lol: |

These pictures are of mine. I have the relay's and the HID bulbs. I think they work great and I drive my truck a lot day time and nights and I have never had on coming traffic flash their lights at me.
The relays I think are the biggest help to any light you install in these model trucks. I would like to see the light pattern of these projector bulbs if anyone has them.:chevy: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...ir_opening.jpg |
