Also going to go ahead and see about sorting my accelerator pedal out while there is plenty of room. I know Rob has been making at least one style of bracket, I'll see what his looks like and maybe what others are doing, but it looks like will be pretty easy to adapt.

A little tinkering on the pedal assy.

GM's guide for the pedal gives measurement recommendations

Going off that and looking at what others have done, I rough cut a plate and started the fitment process. (apologies for the blurry pics..)

A minor adjustment, and I think this will do nicely.. Now to finalize it all. I made sure the travel is good and can still make full open even after insulation and carpet, then I tossed in one of the bucket seats to get a more realistic feel for foot placement and movement. Even had my son give it a try and agrees feels great.

Since I got a late start, I didn't finish last night but will get to it over the weekend.

I believe I got this one direct from LPW several years ago.

You can also get them from Strange Engineering https://www.strangeengineering.net/p...or-brace.html.

Been slacking on updates, working too much as usual. Did finally begin assembly.

Sadly I didn't take pics of everything, so here is some of what's been done.

On the cab, I completed mock-up on the hood hinges and a few more wiring details, but will let the rest sit until I get the cab on the frame.

Assembly of the frame started, and is near complete. Will need to weld the bag brackets on the rear axle a bit further into the build as I get ride height dialed in.

Began running air lines and height sensor wiring, with a change in where I will mount the tank.. I think it will be a bit more accessible in this new location. I am waiting for some new wire pins to arrive so I can shorten the harness at each sensor location.

started bench mockup of the fuel system, which consists of a Deatsch Werks 301 pump, Holley Filter / regulator assy, and -8 lines with Fragola fittings.

Lots of other little things, but will save till the next update. Currently prepping the engine and trans for initial install..

Kudos for whoever spots a little trick my son played on me in one of these shots..

^^^ The alternative method of running the front shocks?

Re: Project Trippin Hazard

agree they are out of place in the pic, but in this case I am referring to the front brake rotor.. We discussed back and forth about which direction the slots should be, and depending on what site or manufacturer you go to, it can differ. But most would indicate they are on the wrong side. Just his way of seeing if I had noticed him changing them on me

Powerstop says they belong like this

the article to go along with it.
