thanx, still haven't figured how to set the points. there is only one screw, you would think it would be easy. been raining and I have no garage not helping either :(

One Screw, but Two screwdrivers.
Bump until the 6-sided cam under the rotor is on the tip of one of them,
Big screwdriver in Left hand, smaller screwdriver in Right hand in ''Slot'' created by end of point set and top of trigger plate. Twist smaller screwdriver to open gap. Loosely hold down with Left. Set Gap .019. Use Gap Gauge. At desired gap. Lock down big screw.

I never thanked you guys for all the help. I've avoided the problem altogether by getting a 4 core aluminum radiator, OEM shroud, and a clutch fan.

Oh, and a 350 motor.
