Thanks you! He had to cut a hole in the door jam to replace them. Not a big deal but it did require some extra welding and body work.

It's just 3/8 braided line and some 6AN fittings. It's held in place by 2 clamps, one against the block on the backside of the alternator bracket, and one on the ground stud on the alternator itself. I can take some more pictures of it if you'd like.

Thank you!

Installed the ignition wires and looms, as well as a new steering column and brake booster. Still need to button a few things up but so far it's coming together nicely.

I hate to ask again, but this part number you listed shows the -6an side to be male and the inverted flare side to be female??? Shouldn't both side be male? Thanks

The part # is correct, but there's another adapter in there as well that I forgot about. I'll look again at my parts list and get back to you.

I think what happened was the parts store rang up the wrong part number for the fittings that I purchased. My receipt says 640600 but that's obviously not the part I have...So, forget what I said about there being another adapter in there, to the best of my knowledge the fitting I'm using is Russell PN640331 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-640331/overview/

Hopefully that makes more sense!

Thanks, that definitely looks more like it, I searched Summit last night and I thought that would be the one.

There won't be any progress on the truck for a few months, I had to move to North Dakota for work and I won't be back until late August. Unfortunately the truck couldn't come with me...Here she is all packed away for the summer.

I'm back! Just moved back to Michigan so life has been really busy with finding a place to live, new job, starting school etc but I'm hoping to get a few things done on the truck this week. For those interested here are a few pictures of how I spent my summer in the midwest...

It was the best decision I ever made! Had way too much fun, met some amazing people, saw some beautiful country, and got paid to do it :)

Haven't gotten very far on the truck at all unfortunately. I'm in the midst of moving, starting school, and starting a new job but I did manage to get the fuel tank cleaned up and bolted down. Slow and steady wins the race right?

Been making some slow but steady progress lately, mostly just waiting on parts. Today I got the guage cluster installed and started laying out the wiring, I can't wait to see how this Dakota Digital stuff works!
