Looks awesome love the two tone paint. I'm partial to two tone on these c10's.

Man that is coming together great. I wonder how many people will even notice the white is a tri-coat. BTW awesome garage television!

How did you not paint your walls more red?

Your truck is looking good!

Agree, the SPI products in my opinion are second to none. This is also my second time using them (epoxy, 2k, 2k High Build primers & wax and grease cleaner) and I would continue to use them.

Absolutely, nice looking ride! The two tone was something I wanted from the start of this project. All the these trucks look good but the two tone gives them an authentic feel even though two tone schemes like this one wouldn't have come from the factory.

Thanks man, I agree the tri-coat pearl white is tough to see in the garage and the shade but it really pops in the sun. The grill is what will be very noticeable, compliments the slant nose very well.

I minimized red paint on the wall by hosing down the floor with water, fans and the large heavy plastic divider really helped attract a lot of the over spray due to its large static surface. The red on the wall near the driver door was because I was shooting outwards to get the edge of the door while it was open and it was simply too close to the wall to avoid.

New windshield installed, for some reason it was a lot more difficult than the last time. The trick was to start the rope reveal from the top of the window as opposed to the bottom and a lot of soapy water. I also finished installing all the trim on the fenders, doors and bed. Finally, I installed the front grill, fenders and hood hinges while doing my best to square everything up for hood installation next.

Seats and carpet are in, I decided to go with the same seats as my last build which are brand new Honda Odyssey leather seats and console pull outs. They fit really well and sit low like true bucket seats after I cut off all the brackets to lower them about 2 inches. I went with a saddle colored carpet to compliment the saddle dash pad (in the mail) and plans are to accent both the light and dark colors on the door panels to tie it all together.

Thanks, they surprisingly are very comfy and you can’t beat new leather seats.

Wood wasn’t too bad so I decided to sand 80 then 120.

Came out pretty good but I’m going to finish with outdoor enamel in a saddle color to match the interior carpet.

Thanks man, really appreciate it!

I used Restoration Shop 2702 Fire Red Pearl (TCP Global). I had great results on my last build with their products and very satisfied once again.

Thanks really appreciate it! Slowly crossing off one task at a time. I just started rebuilding the vent windows and about to set them with urethane. Then it’s wiring up the electric windows with new switches and finishing off the door panels. I have some left over pearl white paint and I’m thinking the contrast of pearl white door panels may look good.

What if you painted the door panels to match the interior seats in a matte finish. Just an idea. I know it's not easy to match fabric but could give a more comfortable feel to your interior then a slick hard shine that

That’s a great idea but your right it’s tough to match. As a matter of fact, my original plan was to cover the panels with a matching fabric but I’ve tried ordering 2 different fabrics with no success. I have decided to paint the panels like they were originally but in the pearl white I have left over and will be using saddle arm rest and escutcheons that match the dash pad.
