probably the right move, raising the truck a half inch! motor looks right

You to? ha I have never had a more frustraiting or difficult time buying something than when I tried to order my Core shifter. It's all done and installed now. great quality parts but a PITA to buy ha

The problem for me is that the Cadillac TR6060 doesn’t have provisions for a forward shifter. I have a camaro tr6060 but to run that, I’d have to buy a pretty expensive clutch to run it behind the LSA. I already have all the Cadillac LSA clutch stuff but had to run the Cadillac tranny.

So it was either spend a bunch of money on a clutch and a forward mount shift or run the LSA stuff and make a shifter. I picked the cheaper version that takes more work.

Ya I hear ya. I was referring to the 'buying experience' with Core

Thanks. Been a lot of fun work so far.

Today I threw the tranny in for hopefully the last time. Ended up running a modded 1st gen CTS-V slave to have a bleeder. Also threw the stock tranny cooler lines on. I should be able to make them work with the radiator I have in mind.

Next week I should be able to make the aluminum-6 hard lines for the fuel system.

Looks great!

What are your plans to address axle wrap in the back?

Going to do Caltracs probably. Id like to link the rear but don't want to spend the time or money. I made my own Caltracs for my Syclone and they work good at ~900hp.

Little update, got all the brake lines and clutch line ran and bleed. Rear end is complete. It’s an explorer 8.8 that I redrilled the axles to 5x4.75 to match the front.

Thanks. I cant figure out how to turn them on my phone. If the post preview shows them sideways, Ill delete the pics, turn them the other way on my phone and save them. Then try to post them and they are still sideways. Technology is annoying.

Don't stress over it. If they are turned and I see them, I will fix it :)

I wonder ifithas anything to do with which way up your phone thinks is correct. like of you take the pic and your phone thinks you held the phone upside down then the pics turn out upside down? dunno, annoying though for sure. I never seem to get them right either. I send them to my desk top and download from there. works for me.

Maybe if I ever figure it out, ill still screw some up so you still have a job?

It only happens on the pictures I take on my phone in portrait(phone held vertical). All the pictures taken landscape(horizontal) are fine.
