dnd1978, what color is that on your truck I can't stop looking at it its suttle yet it still just pops out at you. And what are those tailights you are running i was thinking about changing the stock ones on my 69 stepper.

dnd1978, can you tell us you tire/rim combo size and the back spacing? Im building a frame dragging 70 step and by my measurments I can only fit a 27" tall tire. It will be rubbing the inside of the rear finder at full drop!

Simple black ext. With red int.Just keeping it simple.I think that would be a good color combination.

Thats what I'm gonna do to my 69 stepper I have all the time in the world to do it but can never come up with the cash to do it but hey I'm only 15 as long as its runs and stops I'll drive it.

nope its a 80's mopar color...flash red. More red than hugger. (do have a 72 blazer thats hugger though :) )

Thought I'd try to bring this thread back from the dead... This is the new short box stepside I just picked up yesterday. Original black 4x4 69 GMC. Lots more pictures here...

Found it here locally and talked the guy down to only $2000. Has a new 383 stroker and 4-speed manual with granny low and posi rear end.

They are older chevy trucks tail lamps, I got the from SoCal Speed Shop Arizona Web Site.

They're '55-'59 stepside taillights. Come in black or stainless from most suppliers.
