Got the other tub in. Stopped by the paint supply place and got the color for the bed liner, and the bed liner material should be here this week.

The floor and cargo area are now done in raptor bedliner. I really like how it turned out, even though most of it will be covered with carpet.

that looks great! i like the way the texture isnt to rough. mixing the color in was a great idea. Where did you get the liner matl from? cost? i found it, not a bad price either.

Thanks! That is the place I got it from. They have an eBay store and it was a little cheaper. It takes 10% urathane paint mixed in with it.

Did the bedliner stuff spray out of a normal gun or did you use a special gun or did you roll it on?

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

I had to work this past week so I didnt get much done.

I got the 454 the other day because it was a standard bore block. I got the short block torn down yesterday and to my suprise the crank had standard rod and mains in it. Almost a shame to not use it. Im hoping to get the block over to the machine shop and get the redy for the new rotating assembly soon.

Today I got the hood hinges fitted to the fire wall. I will get the brackets welded up to the hood tomorrow.

I got everything in the interior that isnt being painted out and finally got all the old weather stripping and rubbers removed. Not too much more prep work and the rest of the interior will be ready to paint. I plan on getting all the door jams painted at the same time.

I forgot to post this picture of the hood hinges installed:

You could get by with a gallon, but a gallon and a half would be better.

Is the PB kit just for pickups? Or anything with a C10 frame? Sorry for the noob questions.

The suburban, blazer and pickups have the same suspension and the PB kits fits them all.

I bought it in pieces so I dont remember right off had, but I did get the front dropmember, rear dropmember with trailing arms and inboard bag mounts, upper and lower control arms and the hood hinges. I did get the weld in notch instead of the bolt in notch.

I would get the bolt on body drop kit if they offered it for the suburban.

Sorry that was part of my question as well but did t make it from my head through my fingers. So the bolt in body drop is only for the pickups? It can't be adapted to blazers or burbs?
