thanks! and not getting the motor :waah: had a crap day at the parts house, I went to get the motor and ran into so many problems with picking it up it was ridiculous long story short they wanted like 300 more and i said no and asked for my money back but they wanted to work out a deal that ended with me spending more and so a little of this :m3: turned into this :m6::cuss::banghead:which ended with me doing this :m2::censored: and getting a supposed full refund that they couldn't give me today so tomorrow I have to drive back to town 30 miles for... It could have been worse though

No I get burnt to easily when it comes to the truck, instead I will put the money into wheels and interior or bunch of other small stuff like euro lens covers or repainting engine bay, new drums or discs idk endless possibilities and keep doing everything else and save up money for another motor from somewhere else, maybe even get a nice built one with a bunch of goodies in it... gears are turning once again.

its a 41 chevy pickup. but I added a vent window I saw one with it at a show once and It was a cool mod that broke up the glass and plainish door

Haha, yeah I always said that I wouldn't get addicted yeah I was wrong, there's still a few more I'd like to get. I still want to get a half sleeve, get another one on my chest, and and if I ever feel crazy enough I want to get done on my side.

Looks like a great project! would you mind if I steel the spare tire rig? I have an extra deep dish rally and it would look good in bed like that. Going to tarp bed but would look nice if someone looked in! Thanks for the idea!!!!!

Well when i get time to pull in back into the shop where it is I will lower front end about 2.5 inches and try and patch some more rust. It hit a slow point so i don`t know when it will happen.



Well i do not know what kind of whip it is but its length is 74 inches. with the spring and base its 81.5 it was just an extra random whip I had in the basement that my dad gave to me a while back if i remember correctly he said it came off a state patrol car from the 90`s.

was at the swap meet yesterday and made a score on some super clean bumper guards! :metal: Picked up the whole bumper for $10. Had some issues removing that "one" bolt from the bumper after trying everything i could think of It was time to get serious :sumo: so got the grinder out and went to town! Which I won :smoke: and then polished em up and sprayed the rubber inserts. now I just got to get some new bolts and put them on :chevy:

Thanks! I got them put on today can`t seem to find the cord for my phone so pics will have to wait but I am really happy how they look on the truck. :metal:

looking at the front end of your truck mad this question come to my mind. what works best to polish chrome? like what kind of buffer or buffing wheel and what kind of compound? and sorry for getting off topic.

don`t sweat it. i just use turtle chrome polish and a microfiber cloth. It cleans and shines very well from my experience.

It definitely turned out AWESOME!! I like it so much because it mainly something I've yet to see on any square! Plus it gives it a POP to make it stand out, you did an awesome job man! Kudos to you my friend :metal:

I'm not going to lie I really don't like the bumper guards at all but with yours painted it looks soo badass! :metal: I really think I might do mine, but in BLUE!!! :lol:
