Thanks. I promised the previous owner, and his kids, a ride once it is done. So, i will be back out to BC next spring likely.

Wheels are US Mag Ramblers. Fronts are 18x8 on Nitto 255/45/18 and rears are 18x9.5 on Nitto 295/45/18. Can't recall the back spacing, but i am trying to track that down.
Just found backspace numbers. Front is 4.50 and rear is 5.25.

Great! Thank you!

Something painted this way comes. Well, just left the paint shop to check out the truck. It came out sweet. The photos just don't do it justice. Now, time to get off my arse even more to get it ready for the cab, which I hope to retrieve in the next couple of weeks.

Paint looks excellent, the two-tone is a solid choice.

Thanks. Trying to at least keep something original.

Got the coil wire looms set up on one side. Came out ok. Cutting wires and completing the other side next. Also had a chance to connect the power steering high pressure and return lines.

Looks good and nice progress. Those stock manifolds provide lots of clearance (even for folks running a rack and pinion). If my long tubes end up causing problems I might have to switch to stock manifolds like yours. Thanks for posting.

Thanks. While I was leaning toward headers, I convinced myself to stick with the manifolds because I really did not need slightly more HP for the type of driving I intended for this truck.

Body shop bound. Heading there to have the cab mounted tomorrow morning. I will then get my turn to wire it, plumb the rest of the brakes, connect the AC and cooling and get everything else done before I take it back for the bed and the front clip.

Thanks. No pics today. Might be a week now or so. We went to set the cab on the frame and before we did that, it looked like there was no way it would fit with the 4L60E. So, we measured and sure enough, I need to get the high hump tunnel installed. Got one ordered this morning and should have it by the end of the week if all goes well. Geez.

Cab is back and on the chassis. Paint came out nice. Time for getting wiring, master cylinder, steering, interior and just about everything else done before the rest of the body gets put on.

Getting some small stuff done. Wilwood MC is on, brakes are fully plumbed and waiting for a bleed (bench bled the MC), American Autowire firewall connector installed and the DBW pedal bracket slightly modified and mounted. I had hoped to get more done over the Thanksgiving weekend, but too much other stuff going on.

Maybe I missed it but what headers are you going with? I have the Gibson long tubes and they would likely interfere with your coil relocation setup. Just making sure you have thought that potential interference through. I just got done with a reroute of my ECM harness for better clearance around the headers today so made me think of that when I saw your pics. Mine is a '68 C10.

Got any fitment pictures of those? Do they hang below the frame?

Most of the Dynamat is installed. DBW pedal is mounted and the Kev's Classics rebuilt tilt column is next. Slow but steady progress.

Tilt steering column (Kev's Classics) and new Forever Sharp steering wheel are installed. Man, it is painful to work on the truck with only a propane heater and 10 degree outside temperature. It is even more difficult to convince someone to help me out with the brake system bleed. Patience, I guess. Or, maybe a "heat wave" up to the mid-20s will do the trick.

Man, it has been a long time since my last update. A bit of progress. Sound deadener, carpet and subwoofer are all installed. Seat is in as well.

Homecoming--soon. It has been a long, wild ride trying to get this truck done. It's now back together at the paint shop, just waiting on some tailgate trim, which should be in next week. Then, back home for completion of wiring, taillights, exhaust and a few other things. It looks like it will see the summer road.

I just read through your whole build. I'm not usually a fan of green, but it looks great on your truck. You started with a truck that is in immaculate condition and you've done everything right!

Where did your dbw pedal bracket come from? Will that work with LS1 pedal? Truck looks great man, very nice

TA, I got the bracket from Hart Rod and modified it a bit to make it work for me. I am not sure if it will work with an LS1, but Hart Rod might know.

Thanks. Fit is nice, but installation is not as simple as you'd like. I had read plenty on this forum about the installation issues, including lining up the template for the holes for the lower panel retainer fasteners and the door lock knob hole alignment, but until you're actually doing it, you just don't know what you'll be dealing with. Once I had the panel sitting on the door to pre-fit it, I laid on my back and corrected or more accurately marked the lower panel retainer holes before drilling. On the door lock pull, I ended up making the opening for the pull on the door itself a bit larger so there was more wiggle room for it to line up with the TMI door panel opening. I'll be ready for the passenger side now.

Working its way back to the road. The truck comes home tomorrow from the exhaust installation. Most of the wiring is done and just a few more interior and under hood things to do when it gets back. More pics to follow, but here are some recent update photos.

The exhaust is done and the truck is home for the final bit of work to get it on the road. Exhaust came out great and it is tucked away nicely. Thanks to Scott at MRT Engineered Performance in Plymouth, MI. Scott and his team are the ones that built the 900 hp Mustang at SEMA this year. I didn't know that until I dropped the truck off. Great stuff. The road awaits...very soon. Ok, maybe not a Michigan salted road, but when it is clear and nice out, a test ride will be in order.

Thanks. I was wondering if anyone would every notice that grille. It's in decent shape and if you are interested, I can take some better photos of it.
Let me know.
