Not mine but you rarely see these parts for sale so thought I'd post it up. I just bought a 74 body a few weeks ago for a full convertible conversion down the road or I'd be all over this.

Two fur deal of the month!! $5500
https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/c...421559162.html The white one is also a good running and solid truck. We took them both as the white one has all the extra parts to swap out with the blue one and still end up with two at the end. One customized and one a work or shop truck. They are both powered with 350ci/350 transmissions and run well. The blue truck has had the majority of the work done on it including: Rebuilt TH 350 transmission and torque convertor with approximately 2,500 miles on it. Auxiliary transmission cooler with radiator bypass. Both done by Leadfoot Automotive in Vancouver, Washington. New heater core, Brow radiator, right front inner well (left included but needs installed). New lower and upper control arms, inner and outer tie rods ends/sleeves and idler arms. Front brake inner and outer hoses, calipers and inner and outer bearings. 3″ Belltech drop spindles in rear, 2 1/2 in the front with air load bags to decrease recoil. Lower bench recovered. Front sway bar bushings and clamps replaced. A bunch of extra parts to go with blue truck. These are both solid trucks from top to bottom and are available together as a package or individually. We are asking $5,500.00 for the pair or, $3,900.00 for the blue one and $2,000.00 for the white. Again, they are both solid drivers, as is, but we would really like to see some version of the original idea come to fruition and will be here to help to achieve it. Has around 30K on total rebuild. TH400 trans and the 208 transfer case along with manual hubs and 3.73 diffs. Very nice and clean interior that has never been smoked in. Seems like a pretty nice K5 for the money. $1500
https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...595969679.html Ok so I picked this Blazer up as a project for my kid and I but she doesn't like it so I'm selling it. Willing to work a trade for items in my wish list at bottom of the post. The story I got when I purchased it was the gals late husband purchased it in the 80's from the original owner and drove it for years then parked it to update the interior to stuff from an early 90's suburban/blazer and there it sat with the interior gutted for approximately 30 years. I'm told the odometer is the factory one with correct miles and it reads just under 86,000 miles. I was also told that their neighbors came and stole the bumpers grille and headlight trim. The keys went missing years ago and were never replaced. I purchased it about a month ago to fix for my oldest daughter but she refuses to drive it (she's never seen me drive a Chevy), it's sad because it's a nice very solid beautiful rig. Ok known stats are as follows: 1978 K5 Blazer 350 sbc Th350 or th400 not sure which haven't looked NP205 transfer case Dana 44 front axle (unknown if it's flat to knuckles never looked) 12 bolt rear axle Nose is very solid with only minor damage (hood isn't even folded...yet.) Grey interior supposed to all be inside just needs installed |

Found this Blazer while perusing Craigslist today. Looks to be a decent rig for $3500- if it's not a rust bucket.
I'm digging the colors, too. I'd take a hard look at it if I had the room. https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/...783214899.html Only 46,000 miles on rebuilt Jasper motor and transmission. One-owner vehicle, garage kept for many years. Lot of work done in 1998 to body, motor and trans. Good tires, Meyers plow installed in 1995 - used only to plow private driveway. Runs great and ready to plow. This collectible truck needs work but it's getting hard to find one in this condition and is in great shape if looking to do a restoration. Last inspected and licensed in 2005. This truck is one of the last years with a solid front axle - so can easily be used as a mud truck. |

86 BBC Burban dually! Looks to be reasonably priced at $5500. The opinion is mine the truck is not.
https://salem.craigslist.org/cto/d/a...872763027.html I have this 1986 GMC Suburban that I am the 3rd registered owner of. I was going to restore as it is very unique. Former owner has installed a 1 ton front and rear suspension. If a person didn't know that they were not made this way you would not have a clue it was converted. Being a person that always has dually's this intrigued me and thought I would have fun restoring it. Life changes and so do plans. With that said since it is a nice solid rust free truck that no one has changed anything on other than the suspension it is a great restoration project for someone that enjoys these body styles. It is as follows: 1986 GMC Suburban 454 ci. engine Turbo 400 automatic transmission Power steering Power brakes Tilt wheel Cruise control Factory clock (still keeps time) Air-conditioning Power windows Power door locks Factory split front seats with center console Receiver hitch New battery The truck runs very well. The rearend is a 1976 with 4.10 gearing. Frontend is from a 1987 1 ton. As you can see the upholstery on the front two seats are bad as well as the carpet. The dash pad also has cracks from the sun. It has Alcoa wheels and the tires are fair condition. |
Chalet camper unit for full convertible Blazer/Jimmy
1 Attachment(s)
The '76 / '77 camper units by Chinook were designed for half-cab Blazers/Jimmys. The seller tells me this came off a full convertible, notice how the half-cab part is glued to the underside of the cabover section. Some former owner did a li'l bit of engineering here.

4BT Blazer torque and MPG! $9000 Depanding how how nice the installation was done this could be a great buy. Not mine.
https://bend.craigslist.org/cto/d/le...112705370.html 1979 Chevrolet Blazer 4x4 with a 4bt Cummins turbo diesel swap. Please read this entire ad before calling. Swap Done by a diesel mechanic in Prineville. Starts, runs, and drives excellent. Excellent MPG. Just did a brand new radiator, and had it detailed. There is a ding in the hood, and some fairly light rust on the door jamb, it hasn’t gotten any worse. I keep it under cover. The engine was built 8k miles ago, completely gone through. The transmission was built 8k miles ago as well. It has 3 seat belts in the front and 3 in the back. Has tow package, this this is AWESOME for adventuring. It’s a 1979, but has a 1989 front clip on it. Heck of a winch and bumper on it too. Clear title in hand. Had almost 7 grand just into the engine and transmission builds alone. Cash only please. Thank you! Truck is in Lebanon, Oregon. |

Parts rig with the rare Vista Cruiser option. Not mine. If you ever thought about doing this here is the kit?
https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/c...264726669.html Rare Burb sighted outside Olympia!" So, what is so rare? This 78 rig was customized with the roof top of the classic Olds station wagons with opera glass and a power moon roof. It has a 454 that was supposedly long blocked, is 4x4 (all running gear and tranny worked fine when last run). Front bumper is a heavy steel rig with 8000 lb Ramsey winch. In reality this is a parts car now as rust has had it's way from the bottom up and interior is now funky from sitting. All glass is good except windshield has crack. Tires are old but have good tread. Brakes were done years ago with very low miles on them. I have a sister rig for sale as well. 93' Chev diesel 4x4 extended cab 2500 Pick Up. Needs head job and? 104k miles. |
