Here's the cab with three coats of base on it. It is being cleared right now.
I also ordered front fenders, inner and outer, yesterday. They shipped today. |

Cab is in clear. Picture's do not do it justice! We will color sand and buff the firewall tomorrow and put the cab on the frame. The rest of the cab will get color sanded and buffed next week.

I'm really liking this build. Pretty cool seeing how my own truck is supposed to look. Same colors and all. Keeep up the great work. Doug

Very nice build. In my opinion the boss wheels not working out was a blessing, I see 5 spoke tt style wheels everywhere and the wheels you have are great.

We got the firewall color sanded and buffed this morning. It came out really nice.

I don't have much of an update today. We got the other door hung and will try to get them painted this week. The front sheet metal shipped today so hopefully it gets here soon.

For sure, any time. They are building a killer '69 Camaro right now too. Has a 900 hp lsx in it. It's worth the trip just to see it.

Today we hung the sheet metal on the front. Both sides needed a little work, but all-in-all a pretty good product (AMD). I also installed the bumpers and weatherstripping on the doors.
The front end is definitely going to need to come down. We will probably go 2 more inches to get the look we are wanting. Hopefully we will get the fenders painted tomorrow or Thursday. Possibly the grille (white) as well. |
