Now the question is ... do ya think I can get a 177 compressor and a Sniper EFI on top of it and still use a stock hood to hide it?

Body mounts were off ... But Mo's took care of it ...now they need to work on trans and shaft tunnel it was a low and now needs to be cut and slightly modified so the yoke is clear and then get a "single" drive shaft made for it

Body and chassis seem very tight now and once the rear wood is installed the body movement thanks to the poly will be zero

Made one of the many big decisions on the project ... The Wheels
Going to run 20" all the way around and have chosen a BOZE wheel called "Traction" for the front and "Traction Concave" for the rear, now I need to decide on whether to color match or leave polished

can't wait to get the 20" wheels on to see the stance better

14" wheels aren't doing it for me

Well it is time to get my ideas and vision visible for the build

And I have happened across a fantastic digital rendering specialist that I am sure has been used by others on this site ... considering his work

Give him your ideas and he quotes you off of that ...simple.

Now I need to find someone that does interior renderings, because, sad to say, Chad does not.

Thanks ... I know that the wheels can make or break a good vehicle so it took some time considering I haven't seen many suburbans with these style wheels to compare

What an awesome vision!
Hope y'all can nail that stance, because in the rendering it's perfect!

Me too ... that is ride height

Figured I would get back with Chad to give me a dropped or more dropped raked version as well.

It is getting a Accuair so it will have 3 height settings plus parked and and down.

meh..its been in my driveway halfway covered for the last 4 or 5 years :(

good thing is im getting the itch again... :smoke:

gonna strip the dash back down and paint it black since i left a rag with brake fluid on it and it ate up the paint lol

but also plan on pulling the carb..getting a holley and making my own exhaust that way i can at least drive it around some. once i get that stuff done ill be moving on to making the rear floor and finishing up the seats. :waah:

Swung by to discuss wheel well changes and got some pics ...

Burb 08-06-2019 10:23 AM

Re: The Burb a long time coming

So it seems we are having 1 off chassis to body issues once again, this time being the front inner wheel liners ...

I have a set of "Hill's Rods and Custom" drop style inner wheel well liners, but they won't fit this chassis without major mods which could make them weak so instead of cutting them up its time for a even more custom approach.

The Hills pieces fit a stock or porterbuilt set up, my body is lower on the frame by a few inches so I can't use them now.:waah:
