Scott and I have spent a few days touching up the door jambs and doors...sand, glaze, primer and repeat. We seam sealed the bottom/edge of the doors before Scott layed down the (hopefully) last coat of primer.

That looks sweet! I bet you can't wait to have this one together. How's your son's extended cab truck? Had any time to mess with it?

Yep, we're anxious to keep this one moving forward. Unfortunately, we haven't made time for his 66.

Scott was at it again today, a bit more cutting and buffing to go still...but we had to bolt a couple pieces on.

Yep, slowly moving forward.

We're working with local glass guy that specializes in rebuilding windows, vent wings, and does the front/rear install. He tore everything apart and we powder coated all the window pieces. He is rebuilding them now.

In the meantime, we are slowly adding parts where we can before taking the cab to our glass guy next week.

nice.
you may wanna rethink the glossy dash though. my experience is that the gloss outshines the sunglasses ability to block the glare. just a heads up.

You may be right, but there's no way in hell I'm putting this much work into a dull dash! We've got smoked glass and a visor in the equation also...

It feels good to pull these parts together that have sat separately for so long...I'm loving the contrast between paint and Powdercoating.

My son is taking everything to LED lights...I think the fronts will grow on me?

I am digging the glass lens cab lights we refurbished though...there was a moment we thought about updating...glad we didn't.
