At first I thought it was real. But something looked a little funny, like how clean the streets were. They had me fooled for a while. Awesome stuff :metal:

You know at first I was expecting some pictures of blow up dolls. Way cool. I wonder how he waxes them. Ya, he needs alittle trash, maybe some gang signs on the sides of the buildings, few crack hoes just to make it alittle more realistic. What color was your truck.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up

Found the center bolt Valve covers I was looking for from Speedway Motors.

I've started porting my heads before I send them in to get hot tanked, milled and new valve seats with a 3 angle valve job. Next money I save for will be to rebuild the rest of the motor.

This motor was in my 1990 Snap-On Box Van, that I put a new motor in. I kept the core motor. I bought this van brand new. So this engine has sentimental value. I thought it had burnt valves in it, because it had bad compression, and had loss power. Now that I tore it apart 13 years later it turned out it was only the timing chain. It was faster for me to just put a crate motor from GM. I had to be back on the road selling Diagnostic Equipment after the weekend. Wish I looked into it a little further. But I'm going to have a sweet motor for my 65.

Yeah I guess I did say something like that before. What can I say. I'm getting old. And yes it's a 350

Stock 4 bolt heads from that 4 bolt main engine. It's got 194 intakes.

So how do you guys like the Valve Covers? I wanted them to be nostalgia looking.

Dennis, have you been helping Norm with the crewcab? I see he has a new engine ready. You guys can have an installation party! I'll come help if available. I will be retiring this year so I am gonna have a lot more time on my hands to finish things up.

they're already really old.

Senoir moments come more frequently as we get older. I like the valve covers.

I was going to loan him the Cherry Picker, but didn't know I was going to help him install it. Too many guys putting the engine is isn't good. Myself I wouldn't want any help. I have a method that works after hundreds of engines I've installed. If he asks me I'll probably help though. We should still all meet for breakfast anyway.
