Man they really did a number one it. Do you still have the blue 68?

Yeah, the kid that did it thought the patina look was ragged, so he painted EVERYTHING with Wal-Mart rattle can flat black. :crazy:
He even made the comment that everybody that knew the truck before he painted it told him he messed it up.

Sadly, the '68 is gone. After the body shop fiasco, it sat in my building collecting dust. It was partially disassembled and
and somebody made me an offer I couldn't refuse on it.

Bummer on the 68. I always liked Project Leftovers, I was always gonna run steelies and already had them but your truck helped me decide what tire size and color combination.

Do you guys have a state inspection where you live? Can you cruise the truck once in awhile around the block or something?

No, luckily no inspections here. I can put liability insurance on it and pay $35 to register a year of manufacture or Vintage vehicle plate and I’m set. Alabama is one of the easiest state to register and drive old vehicles.

In fact, I’m going to register this plate for it I think. I’ll probably run it as is for now, and repaint it later if I make the truck nicer.
