my machinest said that it should be fine 80 over, he don't suggest it on the newer blocks, they told me that casting # of head was bad to crack. I wish we had a pick and pull closer the nearest is like north nashville about 100+ miles i went there once with my dad and sister we just saw it and said lets go look:lol:

check out craigslist and lsn I searched today on there today tosee what i should ask for mine..may be better off in the long run finding a better block to build off of..

i thought of that but i will have $125 in this one, and what ever it cost to clean, if it needed alot more work i would find something else, and i already have good pistons, and i need one rod :lol:

sanded and primed the backside of the grill and cowl,[the sides of the battery tray and tested and painted the horn, painted the parking lights

cleaned up some motor parts today gonna prime them but not paint color until i get the motor assembled

reinstalled the cowl and worked on some body lines what a pita:m7: and it don't help sittin in the sun messing with it after you have worked in the heat all day, but i love working on these things

haha i was bent over all day degreasing wire wheelin my engine bay, i got sunburnt on m back now i think i saw 100* today!

hey hub, is there an auto restoration place in shelbyville? i saw some adds on GOLSN.COM for something like that there today..

i have been to a place call Street Rods By Michael in shelbyville i bought some lokar stuff from them
