Not as nice as yours! But step by step-dollar by dollar-some day-maybe. Still on jackstands in the backyard but shifting through gears and brakes are working and all the lights work even the reverse lights. More than I can ask for right now. That 307 sounds surprising with the headers and HEI. May sound even better with the performer and 600 Holley.

Thanks! Things are slow right now with the new house (and maybe finally a garage)... Runs GREAT but you know I want that 383 already---Bwahah:lol: Looking for a 67-68 front clip and steering wheel. Have a tach dash waiting too. Oh and a single wall top coming. Stay tuned.

A few pics of the sway bar...

I think I have a 67/8 grill or 2 and a couple of fenders (not perfect but fixable)

I drove 300 miles in Ol Yeller today to pick up the single wall top. Very decent looking top. Man I need to hook up that A/C! Pics to come.
Thanks for compliments guys. This thing is just a gathering of parts to be torn down and done right someday. You know fix the rust and all. Should be a fun ride or two around the block. Then...jackstand jail.

Sad that someone got these before I got a chance at them. Snooze you loose. Oh well I guess two fantastic deals in one weekend is just too much luck.
Anyone else got a lead on a 67-68 front clip and steering wheel?

I was all ready to come today but alas I have had a beer or two (got sad) so no drinking and driving!
Do you still need the Alt. Bracket? I have a regulator/alt/bracket.

It was great to come see all your projects (Colgad) and I appreciate your generosity in helping me with my project. I wish I could have stayed longer but it was stinking hot man! I may have left a part or two behind but that just gives me a reason to come see you again. Your parts will go to a good use and I have always wanted a 67 front clip. Just looking for a hood now. I even got a newer looking horn button for the steering wheel! Gonna be sweet looking. Again- I cannot thank you enough!

I have read it on here somewhere but cannot find it now. How do I modify the 1970 radiator support to work with this grill? It's not perfect but there is no rust. I would like to keep it.

I did find the fender patch panel so I hung it up waiting for your return.
I got 5.3 in but was delayed by my daughters garage sale. I should have the Jimmy running this week.
Come by anytime.

Awesome. I forgot the other one. Maybe I'll come by this Sunday. You'll have to post a video of that Jimmy running!

OK- haven't done much to this build lately as we got the new house and now I have a garage. WOOHOO! So I have to move this project to its new home... I would like to weld the axle perches up but am not sure of the drive shaft angle. I am not sure I am going to lower it any more than the axle flip so I Suppose it is time. Any recommendations?

Yes, got a older restoration one at a good price. Runs great 350 - 700r, has Factory Air. Small amount of rust but really nothing much. I will paint it in a year or so. To many other projects to work on. It's going to be an excellent driver for me.

It's been around a while, I think I saw it 3 years ago at the Nationals at the Tampa Fairgrounds or at the Turkey Rod Run.

Looks like a nice one! Good job. I wonder what the pinion angle is on it?
What are your plans?

No plans, I am just driving it. Minor repairs, overflow can, I wired the power seats. I will install a new power booster and shocks (they are shot). thats about it.
