Re: 2" Drop Trailing arms
Sorry Nate I didn't mean to talk about your BALLS in public
Hey Nathan how will these trailing arms work with my setup? Would i be able to get rid of the lowering blocks? I also need some rear shocks from you and some air fittings. I'll call you some time next week. Any time better then another? Thanks Ray |

Re: 2" Drop Trailing arms
My PC just forget to tell the young kid to clean them up before they coated them. I forgot i didn't do them till i got to the PC shop. I like to clean everything up before a paint, coat, or polish anything! I am taking my time to even polish the shafts for the A-arms as well as all the bolts. It's just me.
That is why they call it a sickness, and I am one sick SOB! Ray |
Re: 2" Drop Trailing arms
Attension to detail and alittle extra effort makes the whole job that much better and noticed in the positive way

Re: 2" Drop Trailing arms
so....any plans to adapt this set up to the 73-up frame?
I have been kicking around the idea of swapping a '72-earlier trailing arm suspension into my '80.... |

Actually I was just messing with Craig and Scoti. I know they have been waiting eagerly and it seemed like a good opportunity to give them a poke in the ribs. Unfortunately they didn't fall for it..... |

Re: 2" Drop Trailing arms
I already purchased ECE's extreme drop crossmember, but my trailing arms ... they're just ugly. I like this better, and it saves me from making blocks.
Questions: - How long till the panhard bar will be released? - Is there any other option in the meantime (for panhard bar)? - Any e-brake provisions? - Will the geometry be much different...I mean to say, if I've laready drilled for my bags using the ECE center crossmember and the stock trailing arms, will I be re-drilling anything because of differences (either the framerail holes or the CPP C-Notch plate where bags mount)? - Are these powdercoated, are there diff't prices for PC'd versus non-PC'd? - Do you have any plans for shock relocation to this, or is this a n00b question? - What is average pay-to-ship time? I'm trying to get my frame, etc. in for powdercoating by Oct 1st. After looking at my trailing arms this weekend, they're good, but man ... meh. This is nicer and more inline with what I want. |
