Drop is 2.5/4 spindle/shackle with stock springs and backspacing is 5.238 on a 20 X 8.5 rim with 275-45-tires all around. I do use a rear spacer for the 20's so the rear wheel comes out even with the front. I don't like the narrow rear look with the 20's. With winter(stock) wheels I don't use a spacer.

The gray truck has 3" DJM Springs, and Belltech shackles and hangers for a 4" drop in the rear. 275/60 all around

Here's my '87 that I lowered 5/6 with spindles, springs (cut) and flip/c-notch. This picture was the day I lowered it. I have since changed the tires to 255/60 fronts and 275/60 rears which greatly improved her looks.

I've got an 87 c10.. and have been looking for that exact grill..

But that LMC duplicate doesn't appear for 85-87, is that the one listed for 81-82? (models 68/69) ? If so, did it fit the 85 without an issue, can I expect it will fit my 87?

They only list it as an 81-82 grill because that is the grill those model years had. You can use it on the 83-87 trucks, but I think the bottom mount holes don't line up. It's an easy fix though.

Nice trucks, I've been thinking about getting a set of Vette chrome rallies for my truck to swap out once in a while. Let me know if anyone out here has a set for a good deal.. 15x8, and 15x10 PLEASE.

To mount the 81-82 grille on an 83-87 truck you will have to get the lower grille panel for a 81-82. They have them at lmc too pg. 42. The top mounts are the same. We didn't have that issue with the blue truck, it's an 82. Oh, the headlight surrounds are different too. Good luck.

I ordered an alluminum Billet grille for my 87 that should be here Today, but I really prefer that 81/82 grille and did not know I might be able to use it.. I wonder if I can get around the issue without buying (and having to paint) another piece.

As for the headlight bezels/s, the 87s are very similar except for that thing in the middle.. I painted mine black anyways. I wonder if the 87 bezels will work with the 81 grille beyond a difference in the final look.

they will work in my option the 85-87 head light bezels only look good with the 85-87 grille or a custom grille
