thanx! my dad was also very suprised!! and only cost 22 dollars! you actually need 2 rolls, i only had enough for one, so under the seat back isnt done, but, its temporary, but looks good, its weird how much the carpet can change the look of the interior!

I really like that paint job just not on that car. Did you do the airbrush work yourself? I'm just not a fan of bold graphics on that body style Camaro.

Re: 1987 Chevy Silverado project

thanks for the compliments guys! and yes i did do all the airbrushing as well, (first time airbrushing as well) and i didnt agree with the painjob at first either, but it belongs to the school, its a joint project including auto tech and auto body, it is to showcase our skills and hopefully get the school more students

Re: 1987 Chevy Silverado project

wow! this thing is far back! well, you guys are in for a treat, lots of things happening after christmas, short list
-add skinnier front rally's, it may change to some torqlites or dragstars later, but im contemplating getting my rallies chromed
-add73 front clip
-strip truck
-shaves stake pockets, random holes, fix rust on bed, shave cab seam, and side markers
-make the small custom pieces, alot of big round light fans will noticemy change to the front end, i think its subtle, but it will be cool i think,
-get it in primer before next semester projects begin
finally got the BIG things done to my el camino (few pics including just for interest) and she's in primer, the rest will be finished by the other students, and now its winter break, got some time, to really dig into the truck and get her ready for paint!

Camino looks good man!

thanx! well figuring i got the 69 camaro, im having to spend money on 2 projects, so i wont be able to go AS custom as i wanted on my truck, i could still throw the fancy paintjob, but id have no money for 20"'s and a truck that custom, well, needs big wheels  so i figured id go a mild custom, hot rod truck, some 17's with big rubber in back, older clip for a more muscle look, i am going to mold in the tailights still if i caan get that to work, i have been practicing mthe airbrush techniques more and more, and i am thinking about airbrushing the chrome trim the round lights have all the way around, if tht dont work, i'll just put the actual trim on, i am stilll using the same colors, just not AS crazy, the guy i got the clip from has another swb i may try to get down the road, once school is done with, i want to go all out on one:chevy:

I am digging the Elky! I had an '81 I drove through most of college. We swapped a 5.0 TPI in place of theriginal 229 V6, and I ended up rebuilding everything, and re-wearing it out again. I loved that thing.
