Re: late build thread...LOL
What else are you going to do to that thing? It can't get any better! Post up some more random pix . That alligator skin interior is cool. How about the engine?

Re: late build thread...LOL
yea going to start getting some parts together to clean up the motor area, but first I think stock floor body drop...it never ends.
|
Re: late build thread...LOL
What exactly does that accomplish? Do you cut out the entire suburban floor then raise it up a few inches and reweld it back in?
So now the body sits lower to the ground? |
Re: late build thread...LOL
no that is traditional body drop, this is were you cut the bottom of the frame off, after you do some other stuff. so you can lay the rocker on the ground. here is a pic of mine then a pic of one body dropped.

I thought I was first   any idea what they will cost? I got another question for you.... how much space do you have between the tire and wheel and the outer fender lip front and rear? |
Re: late build thread...LOL
Did you ever get the control arms in. That looks SO SO sweet with the 20x10s on the front. I'm more of a skinny fat kinda guy from my racing days but that dish on the front looks killer. I've got a wish list for my blue and white truck for when I put it in the garage and take the body off the frame and the 20x10s up front is definitely going on the list. What all did you have to do to accomplish that. Also I think I'm just gonna static my truck. Can you turn with the truck that low. Like I said I want to ride low low.

How do you keep from scraping the gas tank?
|
Re: late build thread...LOL

Re: late build thread...LOL
This is the greatest quote ever!
My wife thinks i am crazy for buying old stuff, she said (on the side of the road broke down in my burb and she had to bring me some parts to fix it) "you have a brand new car in the garage and you are out here at 10 at night working on your old truck, you must really love this" -justpball |
