Cade picked out the wheels he wants last night so now all I have to do is to figure out how to pay for them. For a street strip truck would you guys go 4 or 6 inches wide in the front? I am gonna run a skinny volkswagon type tire.
|
Re: DJ JR's Build Thread
Good luck with a 5x5 narrower than 7" unless you order them from centerline or get a p/n from centerline. And go thru summit.
At least it was that way last time i was looking for new wheels. and your guys build looks great. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: DJ JR's Build Thread

Re: DJ JR's Build Thread
You have to love a Dumb AZZ parts guy. I ordered a water pump for a 67 corvette with a 427 and the A-holes sent me a small block water pump. I have a long Chrome Water pump
but All my brackets are for a short pump. I wanted to mock up the brackets but I have to have the pump first. |
Re: DJ JR's Build Thread
There just trying to convert you Kevin,, one part at a time :)
|
Re: DJ JR's Build Thread
I have owned several of both and I like a good small block for a street vehicle. BUT The old saying there is no replacement for displacement holds true. If you want to go fast for less cash buy a FAT MOTOR!
|
Re: DJ JR's Build Thread
If'n I ever do Kevin,, she is gonna be a big ol pfhat pig. Buddy of mine is wrenching on a PSCA ProNitrous car,, one of Mussi's 603" pfhat girls, DAYYMN that's a lot of motor!!!!
