Re: 65 GTO "Got Goat?"
Nice build. I love to see GTO builds, especially the 60's ones. These kinds of threads give me inspiration for the 67 GTO convertible sitting in my dad's garage. Car had an engine fire in 1979 and has sat since with the motor and tranny gone. It needs a full resto now because it got stripped in 1984 and nothing has happened since. All the parts are piled up in the car.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do. |
Re: 65 GTO "Got Goat?"
Nice! 65 is my favorite for GTO/LeMans. Just a clean, well styled car. Much like the 55 Chevy.
I had a friend in high school with a 66 and another w/ a 65. We put a bunch of motors in the 66 because he used to blow 'em up regularly. He crashed it running from the popo so we also did bodywork. |

Re: 65 GTO "Got Goat?"
What plant was your car built in?
Or - if you would like to post the cowl data tag I can decode it for you (there is nothing private or sensitive on the tag). Do you have the PHS packet for it? K |

Re: 65 GTO "Got Goat?"
Very nice build and a really nice color combination. I like how you are using body acccent colors on the engine as well for a clean cohesive look.
Great job! |
