These were what were on my 65 when I bought her back. I'm thinking of going back to them now that I'm pulling my boat often. |

For a street cruiser that you don't need the mirrors much on, the stock type work well enough. With only one mounting arm, they vibrate enough to make it a challenge to use them at highway speeds.
I decided to change to a stock set of Jr. West Coast style mirrors, so they have two mounting points. They don't vibrate much at all, and give more viewing space. You do have to get used to looking around them when you're at stop lights or making turns. Made pulling and backing trailers much easier for me. |
Re: What side mirrors to use?
Yep, the stock 1 arm on mine vibrate bad.

Re: What side mirrors to use?
I have a re-pop of the original with the round mirror and it doesn’t shake at all.

Re: What side mirrors to use?
I bet the larger, square mirrors is what makes the stock arms shake too much

And yes, I would imagine the smaller round mirrors don't vibrate. |

Took these off the c-30 motor home. Would they be west coast Jr's?

These guys came on the truck, they don’t vibrate and have decent coverage, but I’m thinking of looking for something a little larger.
