Are those Mickey Thompson Challenger wheels?

Never mind... just went back and saw where you said that they were. That's the same wheel I ran on my 72 swb K10. Looks great!

Yup, seen them on your green K10 years ago. Actually had a chance to buy your old pickup a year ago. But, I had just bought this one.

I don't regret selling that truck... But I have wondered where it ended up a couple times. LoL

It had some interior changes and an automatic added to it since you had it. At that time it was in Texas and belonged to a good guy. Don't know if he still has it or not.
Sure liked all the great pictures you took of it and your other rides.

Thanks for the compliment about the pictures.

That truck would have looked great with a factory style seatcover and the grant steering wheel removed. A chevelle 3 spoke type wheel like I'm running in my 2wd would have looked good too. That truck had been built a long time when I sold it... When I was building it, there wasn't an internet to speak of... no message boards, no websites to just click and "add to cart". Resources were slim when it came to restoring an old truck... as a matter of fact, it was just a 22 year old truck when I bought it! LoL! That was the first truck I ever owned, and the first in a handful of 67-72 GM pickups.

anywho... I've hi-jacked your thread enough already... your truck really looks great!

Mickey Thompson "Old" Challenger 15x10 wheel and M/T Baja MTZ 33x12.5x15 Tires on left side pics:

Can see our 69 Camaro Pro-Touring project over the fender in 2nd picture.

Don't pay any attention to body lines just yet. They will be as close to prefect as is possible with these old pickups when done.

Hello Ryan,

The rear bumper was done by Bumper Depot in California. It's pretty nice, but I tried 2 different fronts from them and neither one worked out. I had to pay shipping back on the second return. Not sure if I'll deal with them again.

All ready had a front OEM re-chromed from years ago that we used. Not sure who did it.

Odgen chrome in Utah are back to doing pretty good quality work again, but they are pricey.

And as you know George Maas (1957belair409) tried to rip me off on the nos bumper.

So all said and done...I don't have any good answers.

Sorry to hijack the thread but regarding chrome Electroplating of El Paso does good work at a reasonable price - you can see my bumpers before/after here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=495482

Thanks Pete for reminding me of them. I do remember some of your posts about them and had simply forgotten.

Do they stock any Cores?

And also are they good at filling big extra holes?

Not sure whether they stock cores Mike but the owner is a 67-72 truck enthusiast and has molds used to pound OEM bumpers back into shape. Several of my bolt holes were rounded off and returned perfectly sized and squared.

Restored Original Inner Door Panel Pics:

Woodgrain part of panels are restored by Gary Terry in Texas known as Cheyenne Superman. THEY LOOK GREAT. Gary does excellent work and on top of that is a very good guy.

NCR a local auto paint store mixed up the color for the plastic panel. It's just a little darker than original. Interior colors always dry darker than mixed. When the panels are up against the other interior pieces they look great. And with that said I wouldn't change the color.

Trevor at the Power Plant in Twin Falls sprayed the color on the door panels and seat belt plastic parts. He just lightly sanded the scratches out...then painted each.
The results are very impressive.
