I’ve only ever had one super cut and dropped before
It was an economic decision
And I sold / traded it before it was completed

The real fact is
The black truck has to much sentimental value at this point
For me to alter it

Once it gets shortened it can’t be reversed
I’ll leave it alone for now

For me the reason to cut was sentimental. My uncle bought it new, I rode around in it as a kid. I ended up with the truck, and was really in pretty great shape. Sold the shortbed ls swapped truck I had, to cut down the 3/4 ton big block truck and keep it. Still feels like the the truck I remember riding around in as a kid, but looks like something I want as an adult.

I normally am anti cut, but in this case i revert to Chevyland's economics comment. A 67 long bed C10 is a lot less valuable than a 67 C10 short bed.

It's your truck, but I wouldn't have a problem cutting it.

I say leave it as is, soon the LWB trucks will be rare if everyone keeps cutting them down.
