I believe the lower bag bolt won't be as much of a issue as these grease zerks.

The drop of the pocket can make contact when air'd out depending on another variable (wheel diameter) but only when air'd out....

The images also show other details about aftermarket arms that vary.... Where the grease fitting is tapped & bushing barrel OD.

The grease zerk is a easy fix. Was more worried about catching the bolt on something.

Currently playing 550 cotter pin
pickup..

Plumbing air this weekend.
3/8 or 1/4 line into the front bags.

The 3/8 is faster which can be appreciated up front. I'm slower with 1/4" speed since I use manual control w/paddle valves.

Ordered 2 got a whole box.

Quick connects on the peterbilt should be ok on this bucket ?

As long as they're DOT fittings. Cheap/China fittings break easier & don't secure the line as well allowing them to pop off.@ inopportune times.

Seems like the "touch line" is the same all the way across. 4X6 pad of 1/2-5/8 steel welded to the bottom of the crossmember for the first hit?

So we raised the upper arm up 2 inches this time.
Finally got the bumpsteer manageable.
The camber change is pretty good til full droop which is beyond the shock travel.

Re: 2wd swap

Visually, that curve does look good. Extension shouldn't be that much of a concern w/the shock limitation.

Now to build the upper bracket that looks nice.
Gonna tie it into the top flange.
Glad the in-house welder is on his game.

How do things look on the driver side interference wise (column/steering linkage)?

In the way.
But that is a given with a sectioned crossmember

True. But it depends on the amount notched. I did a small notche on the stock upper a-arm & it cleared the stock shaft. I feel that's about the limit before you have to go the multi-joint path.

Re: 2wd swap

As soon as we raised the upper mount up it wasn't even a thought.
In the new drivers side upper bracket will be a spot for a heim.
Probably a 3 joint deal

That's what I was thinking. Once the bracket is getting moved up, adding a landing spot for a support bearing becomes easier (well... possibly becomes easier).

Nice progress.

Love when new parts require more new parts.
Our camaro calipers won't clear our American racing wheels.

Rocket racing says theirs do.
Any one have experience with them.
I notice it's a holley brand now.
At $550+ I'd like some 1st hand experience

Which AR wheels? TT's are known offenders of the 'do not clear' list.

The Rockets do offer greater caliper clearance but I've seen guys run spacers on them as well. What exact calipers/rotor combo? That's the bad thing about the 'big brake' set-ups from late model cars (or aftermarkets sources) they're mainly designed w/a bunch of pad offset required to clear fat/long calipers. Old school wheels don't have the same wheel center/barrel shape which helps.

American racing Rodder

10 spoke 20x9.5 and x8
With a ss camaro brembo caliper. Would need at least a 3/4" spacer.
Of 2 wheel companies I emailed only rocket responded.
Said their attack wheel has 1.9 inches of caliper room.

The other option is baller stuff. 5k+ in wheels or 5k brakes isn't in this blazer project.

2018 SS Brembo caliper
2018 Z51 Vette rotor

I'll ask for 100% verification but don't believe he's running a spacer:

They are 18x9's. I would think 20's would clear w/o issue. You could always order 'off the shelf' from Summit to test the fit for clearance.
As long as they aren't scratched, dinged, or have tires put on them, they're returnable if there's an issue.
