Normally on the 60-66 forum but saw this at the swap meet in Monroe, WA.
It had a license plate frame that said "Jacks 1968"

Man, dig that thing out of the weeds and get it on the road. Looks to be in good shape.

Ya dig it out, looks to have a good body with plenty of patina.

My current 72 C10, "The Brown Bomber." Love this truck, it has a lot more character than my last one. Still rockin the original 307/SM465 combo. Plans to lower it, 20" TT2s, tear it down, and return it to its original ochre/white Cheyenne Super trim.

Nice the way it is, except the tinfoil seat covers. haha. The dark copper is a nice color.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

Yeah the seat cover's not my favorite upgrade to the interior but it looks better than the ripped up gray vinyl underneath it. I call it rootbeer brown. It's got a bit of orange peel though. I've already replaced most of the exterior parts and the interior parts that I thought needed it. I could get away with just paint and some new trim but I doubt that's gonna happen.

I wouldn't call it "get away with"....she looks great. We're all different (thank God), but I'd run this sweet truck the way she is.
You like rear trim?

(For my taste, a few, ahem, "interior changes" may be in order...that's all..;) )

Only thing I would do to the truck besides the seat upgrade is lower it a bit and polish it up, the color is nice cause it's different.

I saw the tip for inserting images to the thread so I will add some as opposed to providing a link. Again, my '68 Chevy C10 I purchased last weekend.

Thanks. What I meant by "get away with" just paint is that if I do decide to tear it down, it doesn't need any metal work. Rust free truck from WA. I've been running it like this for almost two years now and loved it but I'm ready for something new. I don't mind the rear trim there. Keeping it like this, my only plan for the interior would be to have the seat upholstered in houndstooth. Other than that I like the interior. Everything that hasn't been replaced didn't need to be ( except the door panels but they're original and I like that)

That was my idea up until a couple weeks ago. Was gonna get the seat redone and do a nice 2.5/4" drop and call it done. Not sure if I can call it a midlife crisis since I'm only 22 but I feel like I have to do something more with it or sell it in favor of a new project. Love the truck though and I know I would regret selling it.
