Thanks Shawn! Vintage for sure and if you can believe it another member (mike bustamonte - thx Mike!) had the door strut I needed to replace one that's broken. I love this forum!

Mine, have been after it for 16 years. Bought it from the original owner's widow a little over a year ago. About 3/4 done with a full frame off restore.

Thanks sboris, it's was pretty nice, but deserved a high quality restoration. All matching number. Can't help myself though it will be lifted, stroked and updated.

Thanks for all the complements - and you hit it on the nail, I built the truck to be useful and thankfully it came out looking good too. I sure enjoy it. Always get thumbs up when I'm out driving it which is cool.

Thanks, had Alcan build the springs. The back set are a little over 4" to prevent the dreaded back droop. Also altered the back wheel base for better front to back fender/wheel alignment by moving the center pin back 1". If time allows I"ll do a build thread on the site.

67-72 is always my fav body style, plus of course a 4wd is the cherry on top, keep us posted on the build if you can.
Thanks. Mudman.

Hey Redbaron, where did you get those wheels? you must have been sitting on them for a while. I looked all over for a set of those and they dont make them anymore. Looks great.

You're right the old Mickey Thompson Challengers wheels are hard to find. Got lucky and found these last year on craigslist in California after searching high and low. They are 15x10s with M/T Baja MTZ 33x12.5R15LTs mounted on them. Thanks for the compliments.
