Ive seen them between 8 and 1200. Hard to come across though
Worked at a chevy dealership a few years ago. A few employees and a transport driver were all fired for selling those since the actually belong to General Motors and not the dealerships

This is so frustrating! Living up here in Vancouver, and seeing all those nice parts and trucks for sale in California. I'd buy the wheels near Visalia, but the shipping to the border would probably ruin the deal.

That ad and those parts have been on CL for close to a decade now. They are priced to keep

not on cl, but an ebay BIN ad (with a bid running). 72 C20 Cheyenne Custom Camper 402. Note white middle paint stripe added, originally a conventional 2-tone, white top only with black vinyl interior. Looks very original and is claimed as very low mileage (21K-ish) You be the judge, I think it's believable, but hard to tell. Gonna need a rocker or two and a little rust repair, so look closely if interested. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Chevrol...m=262817910673 And I love the "step" bumper!

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

opinions on this truck please.

http://houston.craigslist.org/ctd/5957644192.html

i've emailed the seller and asked a few questions. it has heated springs lowering it some. he doesn't know if the right front was wrecked and repaired. at some point it was repainted red (not an original red truck) but that was years ago based on current condition. has some ac parts but not all.

for some reason, i like the truck. i want the used, patina, aged look. i know there's no "rust" so does this qualify in that category or is this junk? what about the price? to me $10k is high for the condition, i'm thinking more $7-8k, or am i way off on price?

thanks for the input.

My 2 cents only: $10k is high for that truck. Wrecked doesn't equal patina. The hood will probably need to be replaced. Not original paint and they didn't paint the bed when they repainted. Interior not bad, but will need some fixing - seat cover tidying etc. Motor appears nice at least. If you really like it, and depending on your plans for it, 6-7k, maybe 8 would be my guess. But I don't think it looks like patina to me. Looks like it was wrecked and they fiddled with the fender and gave up ok the hood.
