This Caddy belongs to a guy that I know from the Caddy boards. It's run as fast as 11.27. He's doing a bunch of work to it for the upcoming racing season.
I got a street ride in it :ack: ....definitely a fast car.

I'll play along. Here is my 96 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham the day I bought it (April 14th 04) http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...778_1_full.jpg I need to get some current pics but it's going into the body shop next week to get fixed from getting rearended. It is LT1 powered (just like the Impala SS) I lowered it using Impala SS springs installed a WS6 2nd gen F-body front swaybar, installed the Corvette fuel rail covers, air pump delete, tinted windows. As soon as I get it back from the bodyshop I'll get my Caddy XLR 18" chrome rims installed and the 13" XLR front brakes (similar to the C5 13" front brakes) Plans for the summer is to install headers and exhaust and rear disc.

Be sure to post pictures. That's going to be a cool Caddy. Thinking of any engine mods?

Nice looking Goat. I grew up in Spokane, WA and all we had was GTO's and Lemans'. I learned to drive in a Barrier Blue 66 tri-power convertible Goat.

Here's my buddies latest project...

tnblazerk5- i would not junk it. put it on e-bay. there are way too many good parts that are hard to find just waiting for a good home. air cleaner, radiatior shroud, overflow tank, almost all the engine parts. that's a m.e.l. (mercury, edsel, lincoln) engine. prolly a 430. parts are hard to come by. all the interior knobs and stuff, esp. that console. if i was closer i'd take it off your hands. lincoln guys would go apesh!t over that stuff...

tnblazerk5 03-15-2005 07:01 PM

cool we are talking about it over in the general dis board now and yup i dont think i will crush this one just yet hehehehe

Galaxie has gone 10.68 with methanol injected 466 bbf. Starliner has a 472 bbf & Viper T56.

HeavyD 03-16-2005 04:11 AM

TnBlazerK5 that is a 1963 or 1964, with 64 being my guess. Do not scrap it without giving someone a chance to buy it, there are lots of excellent parts on it yet, and will give you some xtra $$ for your projects. Advertise it and see what happens..I think you will have no problem selling it.

67_C-30 03-17-2005 12:55 AM

Also, I don't think that is MEL engine. That is most likely a 390 4 bbl, which is getting very sought after these days. That is basically a Mercury version Galaxie 500 XL. I just sold a Galaxie 500 XL with the 390 for $1500 in much worse shape than that. The bucket seats and console will bring $300 - $400 on Ebay.

what do ya think the whole car is worth ? no title or keys to it

oldraven 03-17-2005 06:25 PM

I love the Bullet Birds too much, the '63 was the best of the three, and the Sports Roadster is the hottest T-bird ever made. Makes you wonder how they went from this to the '64.

Second one isn't all that huge, but it's massive, by today's standards. :) It's my '87 TC.
