Here is my #2 Highlander. Its actually just a glove box door I bought on Friday. It is an avocado, unfortunately, the guy is parting the truck out. If anyone is interested after you see the SPID, PM me for contact information. But it is basically a frame and cab left.

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Pickup?
How do you get pictures to post I have some of my highlander to post but it tells me they are to large for the album on this site

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Pickup?
Alabama GMC
Open the picture on your computer resize the picture to make it smaller then save it under another name and then try to reattach it. There is a program you can download to help with the resizing http://www.irfanview.com/ If you continue to still have issue's with the size then send me a private message and I will see what I can do |
Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Pickup?
Thanks Hutch I will give it a try

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Pickup?
that's an interesting one - the plaid should be "flat" - notice this plaid material is pleated like the strips of a Cheyenne or Cheyenne Super's seat.

Did your truck originally have black or woodgrained lower bodyside moldings? Does it have the Deluxe emblem centered under the Custom emblem? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=573974 Post up more pictures if you want, we like pictures! |

Jerry's in Weatherford is still in business located West of Ft-Worth Texas. This truck is currently being restored to its original glory in Irving TX near where the Dallas Cowboys used to play.

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Pickup?
No current pics of my blue highlander suburban...she's REALLY ugly right now as the person I sold her to put her into the back of a big truck. I've got both original seats...but need to get them recovered when I get around to putting this big ole girl back on the road. She is a dual air 402 truck...so she likes her gasoline!
I've got a new toy to pick up the end of October...I'll share that news when I get her home. From there, I've got a couple of AD trucks in front of the burb... |
