I was watching In the Heat of the Night and noticed that it was released in 1967. I decided to keep an eye out for our trucks even though there would only be one model year. I'm pretty sure this wins the thread:

There were probably 4-5 more train cars full before the end of the train.

Just watched the video. I gave up on country music a long time ago but actually enjoyed that one. Tyler lives here in the area, and that truck belongs to a young kid here in town. He works at the local Autozone and just graduated from high school last year. I think he said he bought that truck out of a field for $500 and drove it all through high school. Has a cool old logo with a bee on it on the door still.

If you only had that train now...full of 67 short steppers.

Re: movie trucks

I recall watching one episode of "The Fall Guy" where they were doing a chase scene using a red 71/72 Chevy stepside 2WD. They chased him around a while and at one point, they cut away and they continued chasing him, but they swapped in a red FORD FLARESIDE! A couple scenes later and they were back to the Chevy Stepside! Horrible editing!

I still loved the show though! I actually did a jump like the intro to the show in my 69 Chevy 4WD (sort of on-purpose) and the wheels bowed out and bent both front and rear axles, just like in the intro (but my truck didn't fix itself before the next scene!)

It's from the 70s. It's a 77 ish short bed step with a 3 on the tree.

No pictures to show, but the TV show Rosanne had a '71 or '72 C-10. One episode, Dan was repairing it with a friend. IIRC, it was in the opening credits also.

My wife and I were watching an episode of Colombo the other night - the one where the guy trains his dogs to attack - and there's an orange Blazer that's seen in several shots.

I found a picture

This is what it looks like now (yes i changed to a 69 frontend look, but its the same 71 from the movie) the hood, boxside, and cab white are still original paint, note the dent at the rear of the box.
