Took a small bite out of the build budget for a new tool.

More like a new toy but I'm guessing the plasma cutter is gonna come in damn handy. :D

And check out the cheesey blue cart.
Oh well, free is free and in all reality it should work out really good.

Congrats!

That's a nice tool, it won't take long to fall in love with it.

I cut some 3/16" plate tonight with mine...a simple straightedge clamped to the plate gives you flawless cuts, and almost no cleanup. With some practice, you can even freehand curves pretty well with it too...

Me too. I think I'm going to concentrate on getting a garage before any more toy, I mean tool purchases, lol. Shoulda seen neighbors face when I brought in that big Mac tool chest, lol..... Don't wanna wear out my welcome. Can't wait to get one though, I've got to play with one twice, they rock! Hows that saying go,"I used to cut with fire, now I cut with electricity". Something like that.:lol:

* Excavation - 9/04/08
* Footers to be poured - 9/05/08
* Retaining wall/north garage wall to be poured - 9/08/08
* Satisfy permit waiting period...
* Start bending nails by Sept 22nd or 29th.

Contractors says "weather-tight" within a week, we'll see.

Breaking ground for the new garage.

Those trenches are for the footers that get poured tomorrow.

I would guess that they are the all new multi-purpose lights...xmas lights for the xmas season and party lights for the rest of the year. :uhmk: :smoke:
