Race back in may i broke the wheel studs off in the middle of the corner that was fun, not. Some pics from the beach which rained for half the time there. Did catch 15 bluefish with my buddy the last day and got 138 pounds. Had to move the first few days cause the storm pushed the waves over the crest. Pics of the fenders and a cup car tire under the front end, thing is wide. The drivers side fenders is way out of wack with the top mount u can tell was in the jig wrong and the topholes of the innner fenderwheel are off about an inch. pass side is marginal.

I also can't find my paper showing how the core support gets bolted together bu think i got it right. some input would be good though. i got square washer then support then rubber then washer then frame then washer then rubber then washer then nut. i think.

Got kind of a hefty mig with little bit bigger wire i'm trying to finish it up with now. Had to wait to get the extemsion cord for it tonight and got to dark out to finish it up. My buddy's getting me a set of fenders this week. Owns a repair shop so he can get from one of the Keyparts vendors in the area so i ain't getting shafted for $200 to ship. Also just scored a front valance from board member.

Got my TriPlus Fenders in. Much beefier than the other repops i got. Still gonna have to make them fit a little but at least the drivers side i can make work this time. The inner fenderwells suck to line up.

Got my tank in but thats about the only thing that went right this week. Battery died in my car in the rain tuesday, wisdom teeth are killing me all this week too. Also the core support is tweaked about 1/4 inch on the bottom drivers side and found more rust where the cab suuport goes agoainst the inside of the rocker panel on the passenger side. I might grind down the cab corners to see whats hiding under there. Hoping its only a skim coat of bondo and not some oles cause then that will be getting cut out.

managed to get all the sheetmetal to the garage this weekend. Found some rust in the passenger side front rocker so need to get that squared away. Also sanded down the cab corners to make sure there weren't any holes only filed with bondo. Found a few small pinholes but that was it. Need to finish welding a few spots but pretty much all set. Tank is in somewhat, Bed is sitting on and i semi hung one fender. Had to make the new driver side fender to fit a little at the top but i think the door was more of an issue. also had the hood on but as we were trying to line it up the back wouldn't sit all the way down and then i pulled a nutsert out of the damn thing.

Great job on all the work, gonna be a sweet ride when it's all done, making lots of progress considering your schedule, not sure how I missed this build, but I'm in for inspiration on mine.

Thanks, been slaking a bit lately but getting back on it again. Just got some seam sealer. And rust encapsulator in to get at a few of the hard to reach areas. I'm questioning the hood now that I ripped a weld nut through it and there are a few pin holes. We'll see trying to button up areas one at a time now.

It should be getting a little cold up there, This time of year.
A friend of mine, Lives in Andover.
I see you got your household AC units put up for the winter.
Or is that shop ventilation.
I love the weather up there, No need for AC units.
But, A fireplace, Or wood burner is more valued.

Allroght fixed the bolt i pulled out of the hood last weekend and got another set of hinges. the pass side is still a little saggy but much better than the others were. Gettign everything to line up is a pain and when you open the hood it's hitting the cowl on the pass side. Also had a few dates which may slow this process or not we'll see.<<Probably should finish the truck before pursuing the other interest>> But they sure are fun.

Got the frontend all squared away and started dissassembly of the bed. overall made decent progress this weekend. and now the hood doesn't hit the cowl. :)

Well been on hold for a little while playing the dating field or at least attempting.... Snow hasn't helped anything either... Starting to wonder if i should just work on the truck instead???? but those women sure are fun.. Anyways stripped the bed apart and replaced headboard and rear piece. also stripped and painted the cross sills. Working on the fenders now. Little masaging needed on the one that was full of filler. looked like someone hit a fence with it.
