Hey Guys....thanks for the inquiry...talked to my brother today....he went by the body shop and saw the Mistress made it back from the frame shop....The rear passenger rail was out by 5"...Holy crap!!!...and the front of the passenger frame rail was out by 3"....I know...well, why didn't the body guy see this??..He wasn't looking for it and thought that the reprop hood, doors were the issue....not the frame....SO...everything is lining up a LOT better (not that it wasn't bad in the first place....only the hood was sticking a little and the front bumper was out of whack)...now hopefully, they'll finish up the touch up paint and I'll get her back this weekend.....
My body guy did say that was probably the reason the PO cut the frame horns off of it and installed the roll pans on the front and back....Ah yes...more lessons learned....UGH!!!
I'll let you know the final expense when I see him....hopefully not too bad!!!!

Looky what my Dad sent me today....they are rubbin' on her and getting it ready for me to pickup tomorrow afternoon....wooohoooo...I'm really diggin that last pic!!!

AHHHHHH....finally got the Mistress home last weekend!!!....thus the 1st pic...I missed her, and was out looking at her and my wife stepped out and I just started huggin' the truck!!!!:lol:

Called a local hot rod shop earlier this week and asked if they had an "old timer" they knew that did alignments.....so I stop by to see him today...after a few measurements...he looked at me and said....you had this thing on a 'puter didn't you?!?!?....Yes-sir....well, don't ever take it to them again!!!....this Cat was definitely an old timer, been doing it for 30+ years!!!....Loved watchin' him work and listening to his stories!!!....

Sorry for the double post...but it's my thread and I can do that!!!:lol:

Well....been working on some small things lately....I'll post up pics soon (sorry pic mongers)....got some new plug wires and suppose to pick up some aluminum Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner cover today.....gotta clean'em up and install...stay tuned!!

Also, found my passenger rear axle oil seal leaking while crawling underneath and wiping down the frame (yeah, I can be anal like that). Gotta get the parts together for that replacement as well.....Probably going to change the rear axle bearings while I'm there.....hopefully I'll do a how-to for it.....suppose to be easy, but I'll be the judge of that!!!:lol:
